The workplace is one of the most ideal grounds for stress to breed. Stress does not pick a particular line of job or a specific position. Anyone can get stressed in the workplace, whether you are a mere employee or someone of rank. The most commonly-cited example of a stress source is excessive workload, and, with it, the pressure to meet demands.nnThere are a lot of factors that contribute to stress in the workplace. Interpersonal relationships with colleagues and management may affect your work. Management styles may also cause stress when there is little to no participation by workers in decision-making, poor communication, and lack of family-friendly policies. Environmental conditions in the workplace can cause problems leading to stress.nnSometimes an employee, especially the motivated one, will be able to work for extended hours in demanding work shifts with little to no breaks. Over time, the motivation fades and fatigue remains. The employee questions the source of the motivation. The employee has been stressed for a long period of time and starts thinking about quitting. Oftentimes, before doing so, the employee plagues the company with absences and tardiness. Quality is reduced and performance goes down.nnPeople who are under stressed sometimes don’t notice that they are on their way of getting stressed out. The fact that stress is related to some emotional disorders this makes a stressed person different. There are factors that may affect the motivation of one employee to go to work, an employee who suffered headache due to disturbance in regular week.nnFatigue is a common sign of stress. If one finds himself feeling exhausted most of the time, maybe he has not relaxed for a long time already. Fatigue caused by stress contributes to low morale and job dissatisfaction. This, in turn, leads to the employees leaving the company.
