Intellectual Loneliness

Intellectual loneliness has emerged to be great problem in the present day world. The most intelligent and extra ordinary people are well aware of the surface meaning as well as the underlying meaning of the things that are happening around. He has to keep in mind that the world around him is trying to befool him, or rather itself, through one way or the other. rnrnIntellectuals Are Always AlonernrnIntelligent people are always alone in the sense that their inner self in unusual while the people around them have a usual inner self. They face problems in conveying their newer ideas to the people around them while the latter are unable to deceive them. Things get a chaotic (topsy-turvy) look when they are never let down and can never be convinced by others due to their before-hand understanding of the world affairs. rnrnSpiritual and Intellectual Loneliness rnrnIntellectual loneliness has its own ways of understanding the matters of life, nature, relations and religion. An intellectual may not speak loudly due to the traditions and customs of a society but it has to be noted that he has a spiritual awareness more than anybody else. rnrnLoneliness among StudentsrnrnAn intellectual student will always feel different among the other students as the people around him are unable to satiate his curiosity. He feels himself alien among the students as every one around him has a different level of understanding. The other students feel carried away from him and every thing around such a student is of real worry. Intelligence and loneliness are of serious concern for each other as loneliness may lead the intellectual to have negative feelings about the society. rnrnThis type of loneliness is greatly disturbing and it may lead the intellectual to have negative feelings for him or others. He may completely become rebellious of all the norms of society or may completely go for their calmness and tranquility. rnrnIntellectual Loneliness and Schools Of Thoughtrnrn Intellectual loneliness may lead a person to have problems with the prevalent schools of thought. He may have different ideas from other people who have been there. He has to be carful while propounding his own logic based ideas as the people around him might have dogmatic ideas about the same matter. Thus, an intellectual has to keep in mind all sorts of things happening around him in different dimensions. This makes him use his mind even more than usual.rnrnHe Knows What the Others Don’trnrnAn intellectual person knows many things in his life about which the others have no knowledge. It creates an understanding gap between them. People normally are reluctant to understand what he says. So, he feels himself totally away from them and the only thing that he can do is to stop saying them as his speaking creates disturbance for them. He mums himself and keeps silent. This leads him to loneliness even when he is sitting among scores of students. rnrnThis type of realization leads the intelligent person to intellectual loneliness and he remains aloof from them. He has the mental capacity to lead the others but the latter don’t feel at home with him. So, he is left with no other choice than feeling loneliness.
