How to stick to your new year resolutions

It’s nearly that time of year again for making and breaking your New Year’s resolutions. But so many people fail to keep their new year resolutions simply because they can’t get organized. rnrnHere are some tips to help you get organized to achieve your goals in 2010.rnrn1. Get a calendar. rnA calendar or diary is the most essential tool for getting organized. Find one that works for you, whether it be paper or electronic, and start the year with one in hand. As well as having a master calendar or diary, use post-it notes or daily to-do lists to help you stick to your goals by reminding you to do your daily goal setting tasks.rnrn2. Prepare a yearly plan. rnPrepare a yearly plan to give you an overview of key dates and milestones such as holidays, birthdays, anniversaries and such. Also set aside blocks of time for spending with family and friends. Planning your year in this manner allows you to book travel well in advance, which will save money and ensure your commitment to your plan. rnrn3. Budget. rnPrepare a yearly budget.
