Greta Thunberg, the 16-year-old Swedish climate change activist, isn't afraid to contradict adults on their perceptions about climate change.
On Wednesday, Thunberg provided testimony for a U.S. House of Representatives foreign affairs subcommittee joint
hearing on the
global youth climate change movementJamie Margolin, a 17-year-old American climate change activist and
Vic Barrett, a 20-year-old Afro-Latino climate justice activist, also testified.
During the hearing,
Rep. Garret Graves points the finger away from the U.S.'s greenhouse gas emissions and toward other countries with higher emissions. Graves is the lead Republican on the House Select Committee on Climate Change, which co-hosted the hearing.
