Each valve type has certain inherent benefits and drawbacks. Understanding these differences and ways in which they customize the valve’s application or operation is critical for the successful operation of the facility.

Although all valves have similar basic components and function to master flow in certain fashion, the tactic of governing the flow can differ dramatically. In general, you will find four strategies of controlling flow by having a valve.

Diaphragm is lifted up if your valve is opened along with the diaphragm is tightly pressed resistant to the bottom of valve, when it’s closed. Diaphragm valves these are known as: 1. weir type and a couple. Straight through type.

In weir type diaphragm valve relatively low ****** and shut down ****** is necessary. This gives longer life for diaphragm. Weir type diaphragm valve is normally used.

Straight through type diaphragm valve would work for handling slurries, viscous liquids, fibrous suspensions.
