Disney’s CEO says it’ll be ‘difficult’ filming in Georgia if abortion law stands

Georgia's controversial anti-abortion bill has led to Disney rethinking its investments in the state. In an interview with Reuters on Wednesday, Disney CEO Bob Iger said it would be "very difficult" for the company to film in Georgia if the law comes into place. "I rather doubt we will," Iger told the news outlet. "I think many people who work for us will not want to work there, and we will have to heed their wishes in that regard. Right now we are watching it very carefully." Iger added that if the law takes effect, which is slated for Jan. 1 if it survives a court challenge, he said, "I don't see how it's practical for us to continue to shoot there." Read more...
