There are so many things you cannot bring on board an aircraft now that you probably need a special assistance just to remember them. Here’s a handy guide for you to make sure you can speed through customs without behind hassled.nnAnything you can hit someone with is not exactly allowed. Baseball bats, pool cues etc all fall under this category. It’s not like they are easy to carry either so maybe it’s best to leave them in a bag and put them in luggage.nnExplosives are not allowed. I think there’s no more explanation needed for this.nnIf you bought a knife set for your wife, it’s best that it stays in the box and be in your luggage because customs won’t allow you to bring it on board. Anything sharp is not allowed and even razors and scissors aren’t.nnFirearms is the same thing. Don’t bring them in your hand carry. Even if it’s not loaded, you just don’t need the hassle. Also, don’t you think customs would give you a harder time if they scan your bag and see a gun there?nnWater guns are allowed but anything that looks really close to a real gun won’t be allowed. Do you really need that hassle when you go through customs? Just don’t bring them and fedex them instead. It will be worth the extra money, trust me.nnThere’s probably not much reason to bring ammunition but if you need to, maybe it’s best to just mail (fedex or UPS) them to your destination. They aren’t that expensive since they are small and light anyway and you will save yourself so much hassle and time.nnLighters and matches are also not allowed (nor is fireworks). There’s no smoking in the cabins nowadays anyway so just keep them in your luggage to avoid any potential hassle (or worst yet, needing to throw them away)
