Steak Marinade Recipe

Steak marinade recipes can be created with a number of different ingredients and flavorings to spice up any cut of steak. An excellent steak marinade will impart a special flavor. Marinating a steak in herbs, spices, wine, vinegar and other fresh ingredients permits you to improve the flavor of a steak, and tenderize it by helping the steak to stay moist all along the cooking process. An excellent easy steak marinade often improve the texture and moisture of the beef without losing any of the meat's own natural flavors.
Steak marinades may be a combination of wet and dry. Many of the ingredients for a great dry rub, or an incredible marinade may be adequately acquirable at home as a few of the best steak marinade recipes use no more than three or four ingredients. When choosing a marinade for your steak you must take into account the type or cut of steak and how much flavor you want to add to the meat.
There are countless wonderful marinade recipes; the main ingredient is usually an acidy type food or liquid. Wine, tomato sauce, and pineapple juice are favorable examples of great acidy items to use for a marinade.
Make sure to marinate your steak in the refrigerator. Meat should always be kept cold until it is time to cook; this will avoid the growth of Bacteria. The more you marinate your steak the more time the ingredients have to absorb into your steak to tenderize and flavor. The remaining marinade can also be used to baste your steak at the time it is cooking or you can cook your marinade to a boiling temperature and use it as a sauce.
A popular steak marinade recipe is called the all purpose recipe as the marinade can be used for a broad variety of dishes.
3 cups of dry white wine,
1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper,
1/2 cup of soy sauce,
1 small onion cut into slivers, and
1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder

Spicy Recipe
2 cups of your favorite beer,
1/2 cup of olive oil,
vegetable oil, or peanut oil,
1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper,
1/2 of vinegar,
1 tablespoon of horseradish,
1 teaspoon of onion powder,
1 teaspoon garlic powder, and
2 tablespoons of lemon juice.

Mix all of the items together and marinate steaks in refrigerator for 3 to 6 hours or overnight if desired.
