Simply let them know what other items were bought by other customers who have made the same purchase as they have recently. You can often successfully nudge your existing customer into a direction that they would have otherwise not have taken. Do some research into the customers buying habits and see what trends they are following.

Offer Discounts For Referrals

Nobody likes to turn down a discount; your customers are no different. You can ask them to recommend you to their friends or customers in return for some free or discounted products.
