Start from one corner of the room and work your way to the center of the room, this will prevent you from stepping on the area already cleaned.

Step 5 Continue the steaming process until you have cleaned the entire floor. Later, run a vacuum on the entire carpet to extract any residue of water or soap.

Step 6 Spill out the dirty water from the water tank. Follow the instruction given on the owner's manual precisely to clean the steaming machine.

Step 7 - Let the carpet dry of completely before attempting to manoeuvre the furniture back in the room. When dry, check the surface to see if there are any trails of soap or dirt.
