Do you often find yourself unable to reach those critical deadlines because you were glued to the TV, playing laptop games or even sleeping? If so, then you’re a sufferer of procrastination. A self-inflicted sufferer I should add, which is good because YOU can repent your procrastinating habits and become that time capable success that you know you can be!rnrnNow, I was a chronic procrastinator just a short time ago. Nevertheless, those days are in the PAST. Now, I can set goals and achieve them without any time-consuming hassles. And you can do the same too, just by sticking to the following easy techniques:rnrn1. Plan your daily must-do activities: Draw up a clear to-do list. Preferably write it down on paper or a white board however you can use a laptop if you prefer. Include all the stuff that as a minimum MUST be done today. No ifs or buts! These are the MUST-Do tasks.rnrn2. Sort the tasks in order of importance, with the more important tasks having precedence over the less important ones on the list. If there are important tasks to do, but not urgent enough to be worried about if not done, put them next on the list. The idea is founded on the established principle that 80% of rewards come from 20% of work directed towards accomplishing important goals.rnrn3. Just Do It! Even if the due date is a week from now, or a month from now, commencing work on an important task will help you avoid stress and do it well. When you start a major job just before it’s due, you are likely to stress out and worst of all, make mistakes. Get used to starting jobs well before the due date.rnrn4. Step by Step. Jobs may appear like enormous mountains at first but it is important to remain in control. Afterall, you can only eat an elephant one piece at a time! And it takes time to digest
