Yummiloo the favourite cartoon of children

By: John Morton

Making kids eat nutritious food like green vegetables is the toughest task. Children need to eat green, leafy vegetables in their growing years and this is the thing which irritates them the most. They run away from vegetables. This has always remained a problematic issue between parents nad their children. On one hand children hate vegetables and on the other hand they love cartoons. The world of cartoons is like a dream world for them. According to them everything which happens in a cartoon is the truth. They start considering the characters of the cartoon as their own friends. In such situations the child forms an intimate bond with the cartoon character and it is best to make them understand the importance of fruits and vegetables through these cartoon characters.

Children believe whatever their cartoon character says. Following their mind set Yummico has launched a cartoon named Yummiloo. Telivision and mobile phones are more close to children than their own parents. They learn more from these sources. Hence, Yummico has begun a cartoon named Yummiloo through which children are taught healthy food habits. Yummiloo is a place in which each object is made of food items. For example the swings in the park are made of fruits and vegetables like watermelon, carrot, etc. The motto of Yummiloo is to motivate healthy eating. Therefore, the cartoon characters in this cartoon are shown consuming healthy food so that the children also consume healthy food. Even the characters are in the form of some vegetable or fruit. Ash and Ollie are the main characters of this food land. They give lessons on the importance of eating nutritious food.

To increase the interest of the children in the cartoon Yummico has launched nutrition Kids app book. This book gives detailed information on what type of food should be consumed by children. It also contains certain activity pages. In these pages the children are given challenges like colouring the fruit ice-cream, etc. This increases their knowledge of healthy food and helps them to know what is good for their health. Yummillo rainbow power app is another interesting app launched to promote healthy eating. In this app the Yum Yums organise a carnival. But the rainbow machine does not contain raw fruits and vegetables to manufacture food for the festival. The kids playing this Rainbow Power Game, have to help Yum Yums to collect food for their festival. In this way the children learn the names of numerous green and leafy vegetables. They also learn the benefits of eating these vegetables. Moreover, the vegetables are shown in different colours so that kids love playing the game. Even the parents encourage their children to watch Yummillo so that their children get the right knowledge of the nutritious food.
