What About Fish Oil And Ocean Pollution

By: Dr. Bill

Lots of people are concerned about pollution. Especially product contamination. Should they be?
The answer is no.
When it comes to pollution, most people are thinking of heavy metals and PCBs.
To avoid these, you need a supplement that goes through a triple phase molecular distillation purification process to maximize purity.
Also, the oils in any product should be distilled in a controlled, pristine vacuum environment. This insures contaminant removal above and beyond traditional purification methods.
Your supplement must also surpass all national and international standards for environmental pollutants. This means dioxins, PCB's, pesticides and heavy metals - and of course mercury.
Are contaminents something to be concerned about?
Of course.
A Canadian study sampled commercial grade fish oil recently. All the samples analyzed contained detectable residues of both organochlorine pesticides and PCBs.
Notice the study involved "commercial grade fish oil."
This is the stuff found in supermarkets, drugstores, health food stores, and shopping clubs. It is sold cheaply as a commodity, and can actually be bad for your health, and doesn't benefit anyone.
Contrast this with pharmaceutical grade fish oil which may have many health benefits:
1. Vascular health improved.
2. Cardiovascular disease risk reduced.
3. Rhuematoid arthritis symptoms reduced.
4. Thinner blood.
Regular old fish oil can't possibly compare.
Pharmaceutical grade fish oil may even improve function of the prostate - so stick with that level of quality and you're good to go.
