People join a team by having faith in the leader leading the team. You can successfully develop this faith in a new prospect by taking him to your "downline blog" which will not only demonstrate the views of your team members, their experience in your team but also immediately position you as a leader who leads by example and who mentors his team in the right direction. Allow your team to write their testimonials on your site.

Do not pressurize your prospect or the lead. Use the right word or phrase in your verbal or written communication with them. A good leader always encourages the lead not by saying things like "I know why you will never make a dime…."

Be action oriented

I have come across people who love to pile up work. They ultimately get overwhelmed with pending tasks. Result needs no imagination, the tasks remain incomplete or the quality of the output suffers. The golden rule is to take immediate action, you will see not only tasks getting accomplished but also the quality of results are far better. Do not get loaded with workload.

You should always choose a product or a company that you like, you are passionate about. If you are genuinely excited about your opportunity, people will notice that in your conviction with which you promote that product or the company. This is the greatest pull that will attract new leads to your downline.

There are two ways or styles for network marketing. The traditional one being physical networking, where you appoint your agents in various locations for promoting your opportunity. The second one, which I prefer, is internet network marketing. The advantage is two folds. First, the reach of internet network marketing is far wider across the globe and second, it is far more economical and rewarding.

Be Positive

They say that negative thinking generates negative results. How true. Your internet marketing success breeds in your mind. Remember that your mind is the powerhouse to propel you to success. Therefore once you embark upon internet network marketing have a positive attitude towards your business and success. Positive thoughts yield results.

Many people are shy of asking help from people who are more successful in the industry. Well I have experienced that successful leaders are more than willing to help you and share knowledge. All you need is to give a polite shout. You can contact them personally or over the net. The key word is that do not be shy to seek help.

Lastly, before you start your internet network marketing, do some spade work? Especially from legal point of view. Check if network marketing is a legitimate business activity in your state or country or not. It always helps to be on the right side of the law.
