The industrial automation is a sector of the mechanic and electronic engineering that tries to find solutions for the simplification and the computerization of the most common processes of the productive industrial sector. In fact, thanks to robotic systems, conveyor belts, electrical control panels and to completely autonomous tools, automation has revolutionized the employees role in the modern industry. The modern worker, in fact, has become a specialized technician being able of using all the different industrial machinery simply and surely relegating to machines the most difficult and tricky works. Modern industries often recur to robotised systems in their assembly lines because industrial automation has simplified the the production process allowing the time saving and improving the general quality of items. Finally, these new discoveries of the industrial engineering research are trying to elaborate new tools and machinery studied to save energy and to reduce gas carbon during all the production processes. This is important because a real application of specific energy efficiency measures can really be helpful in the attempt of preserving our nature.
