Teaching Your Toddler How To Properly Share

Demonstrate to your kids how much good academic performance means you to by displaying their schoolwork in a prominent location, such as the refrigerator or another spot. This sends the message that you value your children's educations, and may encourage them to strive for the positive reinforcement of seeing their work proudly displayed.

When you are flying with a car seat, request a seat-belt extender from your airline. This item will make the belt longer and allow you easier access to the buckle when it is time to get off the plane. If your child is a frequent visitor to the nurse's office at school, he or she could be a victim of bullying. Studies have shown that children who are bullied (and also children who are bullies themselves) make the most trips to the nurse's office. If this sounds like your child, be sure to ask them about their relationships with their classmates to determine if bullying is the culprit.

Education isn't just for school. To teach your child to value his or her education make a daily ritual of doing homework together. Use this as valuable together time, and the two of you will grow closer, and you will have established in your child a lifelong love for learning.
