MLM leaders are not part of some kind of clandestine order with funny handshakes ; and they do not have concealed methods. What they all know and have is something that new network marketers don't have and that is simply called experience.
How did they get to be Where they are Right now?
Number one and this is most important, they treat their businesses like a job -this is the way in which they earn their living. They take their firms seriously, it's not part time thing, and they do not look on it as a past-time. They know that by investing their money and time into their business, although they may have only invested a few hundred greenbacks to get started, it's what they'd like to do, and how they at last plan to earn a big income. They have the entrepreneurial mind-set. That's a serious part of it. They try hard, and they never say die.
These entrepreneurs start their enterprises with a plan under consideration. They set out with an obvious goal and they work continuously towards that goal. Their goals are pragmatic ; they understand that setting unrealistic goals can only end in disenchantment and failure. They are tenacious and work very hard and do whatever is necessary to achieve the success they need.
The heavy hitters in the MLM industry have taken years in some cases to build their companies to where they are right now, a few of them might have failed at the beginning, but because they have the entrepreneurial spirit, they started over knowing that they'll succeed. They have got a positive outlook. They like long odds. They learn from their mistakes.
MLM leaders work extremely hard. Most of them say they home work, but frequently spend many days off from home. A lot of them like to imply that they don't work really hard, when actually they eat, live and breathe their companies.
The most outstanding leaders in the bizz understand that sponsoring and inducting is the fundamental way to earn income, therefore they can spend eighty to 90% of their time sponsoring and inducting. That is the entire MLM business model. You are paid for selling goods, and there is only so much product you can sell yourself, so by having an enormous team of distributors underneath you also selling products, you are leveraging those other people's time to your benefit.
Do you have what it takes to become an MLM leader? Naturally I do , you are saying. But think about this. Do you have the tenacity to invest your time and spend maybe five years building a business? Are you dedicated enough to commit your time each and every day toward promoting and moving your business forward?
So what is your final target? Have you got any goals? Have you written down a business outline? Have you thought about how you're going to pimp your business and also train dozens of others who will in effect look down to you as a leader. What will happen if the company you have chosen to work for all of a sudden goes into Chapter 11? Have you thought about what you'll do then?
It would appear that if there's a secret to becoming a top MLM leader, it's understanding how to be an entrepreneur. These folks will overcome all obstacles to be successful. Their main focus is always on promoting and improving their companies. On a regular basis they are going to be preparing or promoting their opportunity to others and planning maybe a year ahead. The best MLM leaders are concerned about the success of their teams too ; they know that their down line's success can benefit everyone anxious.
