Scarves are more than just clothing accessories; it is a must to have them to cover the neck and the face to protect it from the extreme cold during the cold winter months. When it first came out in the market it had such dull and bland designs that people did not find it attractive. Later on, manufacturers started making fashionable scarf that goes perfectly well with any outfit you are on.
To make the most out of it as a clothing accessory, it is important to remember that this item of clothing has other uses other than warming the body. In fact, it could be worn for reasons completely unrelated to the weather and could help accentuate the looks of a wearer whose clothing would have been considered bland and lifeless.
Scarves made of silk can be worn around the neck to go with your hot summer get-up and prices for these items are reasonable. During other seasons, a long scarf will mostly be worn to fight-off the cold and could be wrapped around the shoulders.
