It seems everyone these days are using storytelling as a form of communication. Storytelling with maps, with pictures, or with songs, are just a few ways that people are jumping on the bandwagon with this new craze. The website is well-organized, and several poster's accounts can appear on the map at one time. This is a novel idea that is designed to help all types of people with an interest in hiking or biking trails all over the world.

Storytelling with maps is a great way to meet friends and learn more about which trails will be best suited to your skill level. Some posters may even add a comment about the cost of the trail and where the best photo opportunities are located along the trail. The more information that hikers have about any trail, the better prepared they'll be during the hike.

There are so many benefits to this type of communication, and it's slightly different from other friendship forums such as Facebook or Friendster. If you want to participate, simply go onto the website and peruse the entries or post one yourself. Some people are so fanatical about it that they visit it before every hike for more information. Since the accounts originate from people who have actually hiked and biked the trails, they are more accurate, and some people trust the accounts more.
