Let me ask you these. Is your thinking positive or negative most of the time? Do the people you are being with whether family, friends, relatives, strangers or even work colleagues know what is on your mind even before you open your mouth?
Those questions may seem weird to you at first glance. But believe me, they happen all the time. The answer to the first question is entirely up to you while the answer to the second is entirely up to them. Nobody can control how or what you think but almost everybody can and will find out what is on your mind simply by looking at your positive or negative look.
Imagine you are at the gathering or party with your friends, do they fall silent as if something bad had happened? Or are they full of anticipation and excitement as if waiting for something big to happen?
Guess what? The answers to all those also depended on your mind frame.
My point of sharing with you all these is that thoughts are extremely powerful. For they can affect your general attitude in your appearance, choices, actions and everybody around you whether they are positive or negative.
Positive thinking have a fulfilling effect with invigoration. The person with this has the ability to energize others around him or her.
In contrast, negative thinking have a sapping effect with demoralization. The person with this has the ability to make others just as sad, frustrated or in despair around him or her.
Quite simply, positive thinking attracts people while negative thinking repels people. Just as they are attracted to positive thinkers, they will naturally shy away from negative ones.
Generally, we can also describe attitude as how we look at the world. If you choose to focus on the negative things which is exactly what the media mostly wants to share with us as to boast their ratings, you will naturally be negative. But if you focus on the positive like interacting with positive people, you will naturally be positive.
You have much to gain from positive thinking and much to lose from negative thinking. Health studies have shown that positive thinking promotes health while negative thinking affects health.
Positive thinking begins with a healthy self-image of yourself. If you live the way you are and look, you will naturally be confident and pleased whether or not others feel the same way.
Negative thinking is the exact opposite. You affect yourself and others.
All this is just basic theory written on paper. Because when it comes to doing it, it is easier to think negatively than positively as bad things do happen from time to time. It is how we react and do that ignites the positive thinking from us based on experience and knowledge of what we are facing.
Like handling financial crisis, natural disasters or major plague affecting everybody in a particular region or country.
With that said, the power of positive thinking is very critical for it determines your success and how people see you as eventually whether they know you well or not.
