Move over Starbucks, there’s a new game in town. By DoctorCoffey
And it’s called “Healthy Coffee” and no it’s not an oxymoron any more.
If you’re a coffee drinker and haven’t heard about healthy coffee it’s only a matter of time.
No you can’t get it at Starbucks, Caribou Coffee, Peets Coffee, Seattle’s Best Coffee, Tim Hortons or Dunkin Donuts, as a matter of fact, I don’t know of any coffee franchise or coffee shop that sells healthy coffee. Neither does Maxwell House, Folgers, Gevalia or Dunn Brothers.
But American entrepreneurs can smell an opportunity brewing and here’s why
The coffee market is absolutely huge!
1. North Americans consume 500 million cups of coffee everyday of the year.
2. Starbucks serves 30 million customers a week
3. Americans drink 90 billion dollars worth every year
4. Coffee is the 2nd largest commodity in the world, second only to crude oil
5. There are over 108 Million coffee drinkers in the United States
But what makes healthy coffee healthy?
Would you believe mushrooms? Ganoderma Lucidum, Cordyceps Sinensis, Agaricus Blazei and Coriolus Versicolor are the preferred fungi. But, the most talked about mushroom is Ganoderma Lucidum, called Reishi in Japan, and Ganoderma or Gano in America.
Indeed there is plenty of information readily available on the health benefits. My favorite source of information is the National Library of Medicine website; www.pubmed.com.
If you go there and search on one of the 4 “key words” you will find over 1,647 third party, scientific and medical research abstracts that document the health benefits.
1. GANODERMA 419 scientific, medical abstracts and clinical trials.
2. CORDYCEPS for 283 scientific, medical abstracts including clinical trials.
3. AGARICUS for 698 scientific, medical abstracts including clinical trials.
4. CORIOLUS for 247 scientific, medical abstracts including clinical trials.
Don’t believe everything you read on the Internet, but . . .
Many ailments can be caused by the imbalance of natural body functions due to the accumulation of toxins in the body. It has been said that ganoderma lucidum helps the body remove the build-up of toxins and allows the body’s natural immune system to strengthen itself. The reports of the positive effects of this powerful herb are numerous and documented in both modern scientific research and through literally thousands of years of use.
If you go to . . . google or any search engine, and type in these “search” words . . .
Ganoderma Allergies, Ganoderma Angina, Ganoderma Anti-aging, Ganoderma Arthritis, Ganoderma Asthma, Ganoderma Bronchitis, Ganoderma Cancer, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Ganoderma Cholesterol, Coronary Heart Disease, Ganoderma Diabetes, Ganoderma Fibromyalgia, Ganoderma Flu, Ganoderma Fungal infection, High altitude sickness, High Blood Pressure, Low Blood Pressure, Ganoderma Hypertension, Ganoderma Immune System, Ganoderma Impotence, Ganoderma Insomnia, Ganoderma Liver Disorders, Ganoderma Nervous Disorders, Ganoderma Pneumonia, Ganoderma Stress, Ganoderma Stomach Disorders, Ganoderma Yeast Infection
almost every website that comes up will proclaim that ganoderma helps the problem, whatever the problem might be. You will most likely find information that says; over 2,000 years of healing history, 50,000 pages of 3rd party validation, science, clinicals and studies that document the health benefits. Healthy coffee, with “gano” is said to provide more energy and stamina, improve blood circulation, strengthen your immune system and increases your resistance to illness. It is a powerful anti-oxidant that eliminates toxins, balances blood sugar levels, increases the oxygen level in your blood system, and it has vitamins, minerals and enzymes. And if this isn’t enough, it reduces cholesterol and fats.
Could your morning cup of joe really qualify as a health food?
Coffee, both regular and decaf, has a substantial antioxidant component says Joe Vinson, Ph.D., professor of chemistry at the University of Scranton in Pennsylvania. New data shows that people who regularly drink coffee may have a reduced risk for many diseases, including type 2 diabetes, liver and colon cancer and Parkinson’s disease.
Dr. Gilbert Ng talks about the King of Health Foods
Ganoderma Lucidum called Reishi in Japan is a unique health food with a wide range of medicinal properties which collectively strengthens the immune system and gives the user longevity: It has the rare and valuable properties of an Adaptogen, which means that it is non-toxic, non-specific, and has a normalizing effect on the body. It is classified as Top of the Superior Quality of all herbs by the pharmacopoeia used by Chinese doctors for thousands of years. Emperors have considered Reishi an herb for the immortals. Its stature is higher than Ginseng. It has a long history of safe use (5,000 years). NO toxicity or side-effect has been reported. There are 30 years of ample modern scientific evidences in the laboratory and in the clinic for its effectiveness. It has extremely wide applications, bringing benefits to the entire body, preventing almost all the common diseases. Its potency as a medicine even exceeds many modern drugs. For example, it is more effective than Melatonin and certainly much safer and free from side-effects. It is effective even for "terminal" illnesses such as cancer, AIDS, and coronary heart disease. It is effective for both Prevention and Cure, suitable for daily use as a health supplement. It is very easy to gain acceptance by new users because of Reishi's stature, publicity, and complete safety.
This amazing Chinese Herb “Reishi” has even been recognized and endorsed by the American Herbal Pharmacopoeia Society. The AHP gives you the choice between ordering your monograph as a printed hard copy, $19.95, presently sold out, or as a $59.95 PDF.
The #1 herbal medicine
In ancient times, Ganoderma Lucidum in medicine was considered so advantageous that its medical efficacy has been attested to in the oldest Chinese medical text; estimated to be over 2,000 years old (although the Reishi mushroom's usage in ancient medicinal practice has been speculated by many to be older than 4000 years). The book, which is known in Japan as "Shinnoh Honsohkyo", is now accepted as being the original textbook of Oriental medical science. In it, 365 kinds of herbal medicines are classified and explained. These are basically classified into 3 categories: 120 of them are declared to be "superior" medicines, another 120 are classified as "average" medicines, and the remaining 125 are placed in the "fair" category. The "superior" medicines are called "God's Herbs" and they are for perpetual youth and longevity - the medicines of the legendary wizards. The "average" category medicines are those which can be taken as a tonic, and those in the "fair" category are taken to remedy specific ailments. Of the superior medicines listed in the text, Ganoderma was rated number one.
Healthy coffee with the King of Herbs, ganoderma, allows you to continue to savor the full-bodied flavor you expect, and the energized feeling, from a premium coffee bean, without the possible harsh side-effects of "quitting" coffee or sacrificing the taste you expect and love. Ganoderma provides the invigorating effect you expect while minimizing the potential health detriments caused from excessive caffeine consumption. Couple this with the powerful healthy regenerative properties of the Ganoderma Lucidum, and you will never feel guilty about your love for coffee again!
The ancients knew about it, modern scientists are writing about it, maybe it’s time to try it?
