Is the Flash Player in Firefox 24 Not Working: Tips to Fix It Right Now!

Decide which of the plug-ins you don’t need or use anymore. You can disable those unused plug-ins, especially the Silverlight. For disabling, you need to load about:addons and then switch to plug-ins to disable those plug-ins that you are not using any more.
You can update your video card driver along with the update of Adobe Flash Player. The latest card drivers compatible to Mozilla Firefox 24 can be attained from NVIDIA and AMD.
Also, don’t miss to update your operating system. You must do this using the latest patches.
To fix the Flash Player problem, you can try changing the hang time out of your system. For this perform the following steps:

Type about:config in the address bar and press ‘Enter’
In its search bar, type “dom.ipc.plugins.timeoutSecs” and change its value to a higher one
You can also chose to disable it by setting it to -1
In the search bar, type “dom.ipc.plugins.enabled” and set it to ‘False.’ Keep in mind here that this functionality is not possible on Windows because its Flash Player is hard coded and can’t run in its own process.

Try disabling the protected mode. Here, you may get some security implications on the system.
If the above mentioned solutions fail to resolve your Flash player problem, then you can do a test. Create a new profile and test if in this new profile Flash player issue is occurring or not.
If the issue prevails, then you must reset your browser.
