Eating the right foods and exercising is the way to stay healthy. Facial exercises are the first step one should take to ensure the nutrients from food we eat are getting to the face. Many people think that it is not necessary to nurture the face, but that is a misconception.
We have all seen our grandparents' facial skin age as they got older. Exercising our face is not something our grandparents would have thought of; it may not be something you may have thought of, until now. It is necessary for our face to receive a fresh supply of blood and oxygen and the best way to accomplish this is with facial exercisers.
Everyday we come into contact with harmful toxins. The air we breathe, whether its inside or outside, is not healthy for our skin. We need to combat this by increasing our circulation and pulling nutrients into the muscles and skin. The one way to obtain this goal and detoxify the toxins is by exercising the face.
Another problem facial exercises can help eliminate is the double chin. Although plastic surgery can be done to remove the double chin. It is a more time spending and money wasting way. Why have a surgery when we can accomplish the same effect while reading novels or watching TV. Here are the four exercises that you can do a few times each day to tighten up your double chin.
-- Open your mouth - gently tilt your head back - move your bottom lip over your top lip. -- Take your lower lip and try to touch your nose with it. -- Stick your tongue repeatedly. -- Place your palm on your forehead - resist with your head and neck. Do you feel your neck and chin tightening? These are just four very easy exercises you can try.
If we don't take care of the 57 muscles in our neck and face they will start sagging, drooping and folding facial skin just like you see in your grandparents. We need to act quickly before it is too late. Good thing we know the solution to the problem.
Lips are the first to show signs that we are aging. With proper facial exercises this can be fixed easily which will enhance your appearance. By exercising the muscles in our face it is called platysma and this will surely get rid of that double chin too! You will be pushing and pulling on the skin while 10 times the oxygen will be going to a contracting muscle than normal.
Benefits like clearer and healthier complexion will result if you do facial exercises. It is better to start as early as possible. Try it for two weeks and you will definitely see results. The one way to fight aging--facial exercise!
