Danny the Dragon Wraps Up North Eastern Tour

By: Robert Thomson

Danny the Dragon author Tina Turbin recently toured the Northeast traveling throughout New England. While the bookstores she visited were strong promoters of local authors, they eagerly welcomed Tina for speaking engagements on her latest children's book, Danny the Dragon (http://DannyTheDragon.com). This tour brought her directly into a multitude of small New England towns that are on the back roads of New England, which was a perfect venue for Tina to speak to the many independent bookstore owners.

In the winter's cold months, these same bookstores become a gathering place and even a refuge from the cold. A bookstore that serves hot drinks can be a welcome haven in the cold winter months. Many of these bookstores had comfy chairs and cozy couches where you could enjoy a beverage while looking through a book or magazine. Danny the Dragon was introduced to independent bookstores throughout New England and Tina spoke to store owners and attendees about her releases including the continuation of the Danny The Dragon series, the new Danny the Dragon DREAMS CD and Danny the Dragon DVD (a very special release for the deaf with sign interpretation).

As always, Tina continues to be available to speak to bookstore owners, public libraries, hospitals and schools. She continues to be asked many questions about all phases of her authoring experiences. It's amazing that she can finish any speaking engagement in the allotted time, the questions just keep coming. Kids love her book, love to listen to her and they really come up with such intelligent questions.

Look for Tina Turbin when she comes to your area and bring your child. You can also contact her at http://TinaTurbin.com to place a request to have her visit your bookstore, school or library.
