Cheap Beds Reviewed At JJ Beds

Know what to expect regarding cheap beds that are currently being sold in the beds market.

Purchasing cheap beds may sound like an endeavour that is easy enough for most individuals. But with thousands of bed retailers offering nearly hundreds of models of cheap beds, the task of choosing the right bed becomes a quest altogether.

There are quite a number of units of various beds available within the £80 to £200 range, in stock at most retail outlets and factory depots in the UK. When buying cheap beds, allocate a suitable budget within your means but would not otherwise compromise on quality. You would be able to squeese out more value for your money at the higher end of the price spectrum, enough to acquire cheap beds with more features and conveniences than those that cost much less but are rather basic and bare.

The trick to getting the best cheap beds for your home is to find the right balance of quality and features that would not be too heavy cost-wise. Here is a limited review of cheap beds available from most retailers to give you a general idea of what to expect in today’s beds market.

Online Rates

When you do an online search for cheap beds, the first few hits are not necessarily the best sources to look into. Most likely the real quality bargains are a few pages further down the search results.

Amongst the most budget friendly beds available at websites of online retailers are metal bed frames of the aluminium or steel variety. Expect double sized beds to cost under £100, mattress not included.

Some bed frames in a mix of metal and wood can fetch for about £125 to £135 along with a complimentary mattress. However, see if you can have the price brought down without the free mattress as these are usually of low quality and may not be covered by a guarantee. You might be able to get a better one on a warehouse clearance sale for more or less £100 with warranty.

Wooden bedsteads can go much cheaper. A spindle model made of pine wood can be priced for as low as £79. With this, you can get a better quality mattress that provides more comfort and support, like an orthopaedic foam for only £130.

Recommended also for cheap beds are divan beds. Whilst divans are not usually as low priced as bedsteads, their versatility more than compensates for the extra cost. A starter double divan set without storage space inclusive of a medium firm mattress costs around £149. Incorporating storage drawers would require an additional £40 for each drawer.

Actual Store Rates

Online retailers may offer cheaper rates than when buying from an actual store since overhead costs are reduced. However, in many instances the price difference for cheap beds hardly matters considering the finality of the purchasing experience in-store, whereas when online, there would always be a question of the quality of the product. Furthermore, factory depots during clearance period may yield better bargains for cheap beds than when placing your purchase online.
