In recent months, Google has made sweeping changes to its search algorithms with a view to improving the quality of the search results. These changes have to webmaster frightened by its radicalism.
It seems that we are playing cat and mouse. When we started working with new algorithms and have already taken the "hang" out with new changes Google and worse, where I say now I say Diego.
Although one of the goals of these changes are designed to eliminate spam from Google results, the fact is that many sites with useful information on which surely have worked and who have dedicated many hours have been affected.
On the one hand we believe that Google has some partly right but on the other hand there are many websites that have been affected in search results without Spam or unintentionally.
In September Google quietly launched the Panda update 3.5 to complete the 24th with the mother of all updates. Which Google began calling himself "over-optimization penalty" that resulted in "Updating the webspam" to end finally calling it "Penguin Update".
What is this Penguin? It is still early and middle SEO world is investigating the issue, but you have some data as possible causes of a website that has been affected:
Domains whose name is a keyword
Keyword Stuffing, or over-optimizing keywords in the content of a web page.
Abuse of optimized anchor text to link internal pages of our site.
Contents of very low quality.
Blocks related links or "friend sites" full of keywords.
Link Exchange aggressive.
Little or no change in the anchor text in inbound links to the site.
Detection of large amounts of links considered unnatural.
Detecting evidence of involvement in private networks of buying and selling links.
These are just some of the factors alone or in combination with others, may be behind a website affected by Google Pinguin.
Here are some ideas to consider when facing the Google Pinguin and help to the positioning of a website dise๑o paginas web) and avoid the penalty.
No directories. Being in the directory is null and therefore should not waste time by registering here and there.
Being on Social Media and make people talk about their work in them.
Write and disseminate articles of interest on the web and in social networks.
The last two items that refer to the links currently being hotly debated. SEO experts say that these measures may entail entry into negative SEO scene. This means that anyone could maliciously generate thousands of links to a competitor for Google to penalize malpractice.
But common sense tells us that Google would never consent to such practices and presumably "has it all under control, well bound and tied ...". But, if it occurs? Who would be responsible for any damage caused? We will need several months to see how the new measures taken by Google. Hope this helps the webmasters web design as engaged in webdesign and SEO.
