At the start of the day usually there will be some trouble shooting to take care of. But once these problems are solved it will be easier for you to enjoy the craft show. When you are having fun with what you are doing, your customer will also see this and will want to stay around.
To help you lessen the stress you were feeling when you started your craft show is to mingle with the customers and other vendors. Chatting with customers and other crafters also creates a business network for you as well as they might be able to give you sound advices about your work.
For your first craft show it is best not to put too much high hopes into it. This is because most customers have the tendency to make more comments then buying. Since you are still in the trail and error stage you can take things easy and just learn from your experience.
Another important thing that you have to keep in mind, do not be discourage in your first craft show. Remember its a trial and error stage and learn from your mistakes and what other crafters will advise you.
Most vendors will take 2-3 shows before they get a hang on how the show works. While youre having your crafts shows try also to do some shopping, you can treat this purchase as an investment to your decoration.
