Bin Range Numbers To Check

By: Gen Wright

You will want a big range of numbers, to be able to run a bin number check, to safeguard yourself against scams and frauds. This is something to do if you want to save time, hassle and money for yourself. You will save your time by running a BIN check since this is a simple task, it will not take any longer than the time you need, to type in six digits on the card. BIN stands for Bank Identification Number, when you are asked for those numbers it is just the first six digits on the card that is being used.

It will also save the time you will have to waste, when you are dealing with a fraud case and charge backs are being done. Think about all the time that you have to waste talking to the banks regarding your case, only to end up hearing "I'm sorry, but there is nothing we can do." After spending weeks if not months, proving that you are in the right, the banks still take your money away, the heartache is not something pleasant to experience. Also, the amount of trust between the bank and your business will decrease, when you receive more and more chargebacks.

Think about how much your product is worth; because that will be the amount of money you are losing as well. There is close to no way, to recover your product since the scam artist will be long gone. All this can be prevented just from running a simple BIN number check. Run a search on the internet, to find the right website that you can use, for your company. There will be many results that show up after you have checked; there are even websites that offer their services for free.

However, I have to be honest when I say that free websites tend to not work as well as those websites, which you have to pay. The database that you will be running your search on has to be big, if the database that is being provided by the website, which you are using is small, you will not be able to find the information, which you are looking for. This will only be a waste of your time and effort; therefore I suggest that you use a paying website since they have a larger database, then most free websites.

Bin range numbers are also something, which you should be looking at, when you are choosing the right website to use for your company. If the range of the numbers that you need to run the search on is too little, you will not have the information that you are looking for. This will end up costing you, more time and frustration in the long run. If you are running searches, but you end up not finding results most of the time, it is time for you to start looking at other websites that offer the same service. Choose one that is constantly being updated and easy to use.
