She received her degree as a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Barry University in North Miami, FL, and completed a three-year surgical residency in rearfoot and ankle reconstruction from the Kentucky Podiatric Residency program affiliated with the University of Louisville in Louisville, KY.
