To live a healthy life these days you will have to go out and buy organic food products, in this same way, you have to buy clean air, now we all know that air is free, but that is not really clean air is it, this is proven in hospital where they filter all of their air before their patience’s breath it in. in this same way, we need to filter air in our homes, but where do we start when we go out and buy air duct systems and duct cleaners?

• Good standing with the BBB. Companies in good standing with the BBB are held to a higher ethical standard than those who are not a BBB member. Look for a company that is a BBB member.

• An "A" rating with Angie`s List. Angie`s List is a word-of-mouth network for consumers. It features a growing collection of homeowners` real-life experiences with local service companies. The people who join Angie`s List are looking for a way to find trustworthy companies that perform high-quality work.

• Look for companies who have an "A" rating with Angie`s List. Here`s a video of a thorough air duct cleaning. A company like Advanced Power Vac by Allied Home Services provides complete air duct cleaning services in the Denver Metro Area.

A combination of all three principles will provide the most thorough sales jobs available. So if you walk into a store, this is what you will have to look for. Beware of air duct cleaning companies that use a portable unit or carpet cleaning equipment (even though they may be truck mounted)! These systems simply do not have the vacuum pressure necessary (100 cfm - 400 cfm) to properly clean your vents. Also, they are not designed to reach all areas of your HVAC system, where most dust and debris is found. Make sure that the company has a vacuum hose of 8" in diameter or larger to be ensure that larger debris can be extracted. If the vacuum hose is only 1 1/2" in diameter, items larger than the opening of the hose will be left behind. So now when you go out to look at these systems rest assured that you know what you are looking for. So do not settle for anything less than perfection or perfect air for your family, because there is nothing more important.
