Hey, seafood lovers! Shrimps are a classic favorite at family meals. Whatever cooking style used to cook the shrimps it is always a treat especially if its summer. There is no other grand way to spend summer than to enjoy consuming summer favorites. The feature summer menu for now is succulent and mouth watering lobster.
Yes, lobster. The very thought of its tender white meat flavored with garlic and butter makes my mouth water with pleasure. Lobsters are deemed a fine dining treat and a pricey commodity because of its high price. Lobsters being hard to cook and a daunting task to prepare is a common misconception. Preparing and cooking lobster is a breeze. Lobsters can be bought through a local fish monger with the claws safely tied with a rubber.
Lobsters should be frozen by about 30-45 minutes before boiling for it to sleep or be in a temporary state of coma. Remove the rubber bands used to tie the claws (for security purposes) as it can alter the flavor of the lobster. Next is to place the lobsters in fast boiling water, cover tightly and leave it for around 30-45 minutes until it reaches a bright color red. Remove out of water and let cool in a pan.
Twist the tail gently to separate it from the body. Using kitchen shears, cut across the underside of the lobster and gently release the meat from the shell. Crack the claws using lobster cracker to release the juicy, tender and flavorful claw meat. Lobsters are best enjoyed with lemon butter sauce. Grilled lobsters are also a favorite summer dish as well as shrimp salads and grilled barbecue shrimp kebabs.
Hmmm. What a tempting read. Dont we wish we had a shrimp chalet to attend right now? Chesapeake Beach in Maryland will have its yearly shrimp festival. Come and visit the place where tasteful shrimps and lobsters meals are available for everyone's tongue enjoyment!
