7 Perennial Hot Mens Gifts.

By: Peter Albonich

I spend my time writing about mens gifts and mens gift ideas. I get asked a lot about "what gift do I buy for the man who has everything". He has lots of money so anything he wants he buys.
If a man can buy anything he wants then almost by definition there's not much left he wants, so don't expect him to drop lots of hints about what he wants for his birthday, or Christmas. If he really wants it he's already bought it.
Not always of course, often it's a question of cost. There are men with a list of wants that they would like to fill, but just can't afford them. If your man is like that, and you can afford those gifts, then ask him and see what he'll say, he'll probably jump at the chance to tell you about those things he'd love the most but can't buy for himself.
But lets assume for a moment that your man can afford what he wants, and so you're a little stuck for ideas for unique and unusual birthday gifts or Christmas gifts that are going to get his juices going.
Here's 7 ideas for mens gifts that men love regardless. Now of course not all men are the same, so I can't guarantee that your man will love all 7, but you'll find something there he will love. Some are expensive, some aren't.
1. Lingerie. Men love to see their women in hot lingerie and so if you buy some really hot lingerie and wear if for him I'll guarantee there's few men that would be disappointed. And it's something for you as well, and not expensive.
No matter how many pieces of beautiful lingerie a woman has, if she selects well and chooses the right piece I can just about guarantee her man will love it, provided of course she wears it for him. It's almost a can't fail gift.
And you can get lingerie in all sizes, so girls you have no excuses to say that you can't find your size. If your man loves you large he'll love you large and wearing hot lingerie too.
2. Buy him an adventure gift. Not all men love adventure, but most do. And believe it or not there are companies that cater directly to that with all sorts of adventure. Things that a man with a death wish will love right down to subtle adventure like a romantic spa for 2 at a beautiful remote location.
Would your man love to do his first parachute jump? How about white water rafting? Or maybe he'd love to drive a supercar or a tank. Or how about go Zero-G like the astronauts? There's so many options from high adrenalin down, there's something for everyone.
3. Why not an eco holiday? Men love to travel, like women, but a gift of a holiday in France might be a little ordinary. How about an adventure destination working with people who are less fortunate than us doing charity or volunteer work? There's lots of options.
Perhaps he'd like to be in the wilds of Africa working with animals or maybe on a research vessel off the coast of Mexico counting turtles? It's fun, it's really exciting and it's very different. It helps those less fortunate and it's a great holiday and gift idea for him (and why not you too)?
It costs, it's not free, but it's an extremely unique and fabulous holiday that he's unlikely to better.
4. Chinese art. I love Chinese art, I have a stack of it at home, but then I lived in China for while. Yixing teapots for example are wonderful and very different. Not expensive but unlike anything that he's probably seen before. Chinese art makes any house look great.
Chinese art is extremely cheap compared to the equivalent in Western art. And it's a mens gift with a difference.
5. An elephant painting. Another one for the man who likes his art. Painted by a real Asian elephant on paper which is made from elephant dung. Now before you wonder if I've gone mad check it out. The elephants really do the painting, I have a video of it on my website. And believe it or not they paint recognizable objects. The paintings look great, are extremely inexpensive, and would make a great artwork to hang near the table to stimulate some evening conversation with his friends.
6. Then of course there really is the man who has it all, and wants for nothing. Why not buy him a whale. Of course it's hard to transport and wrap a whale, so that's not quite how it works. You find an organization like the Hebridean Whale and Dolphin trust which identifies and tracks real individual whales in the ocean. And you can name his own whale or dolphin just for him, so he knows that he has his own whale out there.
It's a unique mens gift idea and on top of that the money goes to help protect the whales.
So there you have it, 6 suggestions for great gifts for the man who has everything. Ranging in price from $50 or so, to seriously expensive.
Now you don't have any excuses to say "I have no idea what to buy him for his birthday" any more.
