The ninth annual New Orleans Bowl will kick off on December 20, 2009, and will pit a team from the Sun Belt Conference against a team from Conference USA. The game is played in the Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans and is sponsored by R+L Carriers, and is officially known as the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl. The New Orleans Bowl is currently the Sun Belt Conference's only guaranteed bowl bid.
