Recently, President Barack Obama has passed a stimulus package just for Moms who'd like to go back to college and get a career. This scholarship is called the Pell Grant, and is extremely enticing to low-income Moms who want a worthwhile career. It is mainly aimed at Moms, single or married, who have put there dreams on hold so as to not burden their children with financial insecurity.
When Obama was inaugurated, one of his first points of business was he increased the grant amounts for low-income students from $4050 to $5100, which is great news for Moms who want to hit the books, but can't quite afford it. As well as grants and scholarships, other perks the government is now offering are things such as a tax cut, sponsored by The American Opportunity Tax Credit program. You will get your first $4000 of educations fees at no cost to you, for Moms this can take a huge weight off your shoulders.
Also, Obama's grants and scholarships are still available even if you choose to study via online, for busy Moms who prefer not to leave their children, and take off on a college adventure. Many people assume that because of the economy's current slump, it's not the best time to considering returning to school. These thoughts are most prevalent in busy Moms that anyone else, especially working Moms who have to juggle their work schedules, finances, their children, care issues, and other necessities.
But eventually, the economy is going to improve and when it does there will be many jobs available, most for people with college degrees. No better way to prepare for the future than to start with a head start into college and eventually a life-long career.
